Δημήτρης Κουρκούνας

Dimitris Kourkounas has served as Milk Zone Manager for Greece at OMIROS Dairies S.A. since 2015. He brings over 24 years of experience from DELTA Dairy Industry, where he held key roles in the Quality Control Laboratory and the Thessaly milk zone.
In parallel with his industry career, he has been actively involved in academic research. Since 2021, he has collaborated on research programs at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), within the School of Agricultural Sciences, Department of Agriculture, contributing to the initiative “Genetic Resources for Livestock.” Since 2026, he has also participated in research programs at the University of West Attica, within the Department of Food Science and Technology.
